Lenel OnGuard - LENEL is a powerful and robust access control software and hardware solution designed to operate on Microsoft Systems. The Lenel system server environment can be designed and supplied either by Controlled Ltd alone or in conjunction with the clients own ICT department.

The Lenel field hardware architecture consists of Networked Intelligent System controllers with downstream access control modules connected on RS485 data network.   

The Lenel Access Control system software has embedded applications that can be applied for use across all modern day client operating environments and are controlled by one seamless front end Graphical User Interface called OnGuard.

The Lenel Access Control system is scalable starting from a simple two reader system to a multiple global enterprise system. Storage and archives can be easily added as needed. Access to a live and recorded events log can be created per individual user.

Seamless CCTV integration is implemented through Lenel OnGuard using a boxed Network Video Recorder solution or via Skypoint Lenel’s fully IP application.   

The Lenel Access Control System open architecture also allows for integration with certified and tested third party equipment for a complete Building management solution.

 Genetec - Genetec IP CCTV, ANPR and Access Control is a software solution designed to run on Microsoft Systems. 

The system server element can be designed and supplied by Controlled or by the clients own ICT department.

The system architecture is designed for a fully networked solution and can utilise a wide range of systems for a totally scalable set of solutions. Genetec is suited to operate on a VMware environment.

Storage and archives can be easily added as needed. Access to live and recorded images can be set per individual camera and user. It eliminates the requirement for Network Video Recorders and other boxed recording options.

The system modules embedded within the software are Omnicast for CCTV, Autovu for ANPR and Synergis for Access Control. Each application can be deployed individually or integrated under one front end operation GUI called Security Centre.

BRS Labs - Behavioural Recognition Systems – more widely known as BRS Labs – has developed a Behavioural Video Analytics product known as AISight (pronounced ‘eyesight’). 

This technology was developed to address the challenge facing every security manager - too many cameras to monitor and not enough personnel to watch what’s happening.  AISight automatically learns a CCTV video scene and once the learning process is completed the system generates alerts on any unusual behaviour that is detected.

BRS Labs has deliberately taken a new approach to the Video Analytics marketplace, replacing ‘rules based’ analytics with an intuitive and cognitive (or learning) platform.  This revolutionary approach to the challenge of automatically watching video generates much more accurate and relevant alerts and ensures that the user is constantly updated in real time, as the system discovers any anomalies within the video it is watching.

In addition the system uses unique ‘micro-classifiers’ or queries to further enhance the accuracy of the alerts generated  The micro-classifiers utilised include speed, direction, colour, size, aspect ratio, etc.  In total there are thirteen classifiers, meaning that AISight is asking thirteen questions of each object tracked, with each query defining the likelihood (or not) that the object in question is behaving unusually within the field of view.

What this means for our customers is less false alarms, more relevant data and a proactive and accurate system which can push meaningful video alerts directly to any user via networked email or to a PDA or smart phone.
