The Client is a multinational company which uses Lenel access control as its access control solution, approximately 3000 card readers with 15,000 card holders split sites in the United States of America, Europe, Asia and the middle East. All Access control management is controlled at the clients head office in the United States of America.
As a Lenel VAR Controlled Ltd was commissioned to design, install and commission the new UK headquarters office fit out. Liaison was with the Clients nominated Lenel VAR based in the USA and the clients in house security team.
The project consisted of the installation of new Lenel access control hardware configured as a separate partition and commissioned to the existing global Lenel access control system. This was integrated with a Honeywell Intruder alarm system with dedicated arm and disarm card readers configured as a separate access level so all alarm transactions are logged within the Lenel OnGuard events log and alterations and re-commissioning of the existing Gent Fire Alarm system.
All aspects of this project were delivered on time and within budget resulting in documented appraisal from the clients security department for the seamless way in which Controlled carried out the project.
