Intruder Detection
The project started out centred on Access Control. The brief being to work in close conjunction with a major American Security Services company.
Throughout the project Controlled attended site meetings with the end user client, liaised with the security company in the USA, and helped by answering all questions, explaining details, and providing on going advice and guidance.
As a result of our pro-active attention to detail, Controlled were awarded not only the Lenel implementation but also the Intruder System and modifications to the Fire Detection System.
The Lenel Access Control system is connected to a USA control centre for all real time managing and monitoring.
All works have been carried out in close conjunction with the USA based 3rd Party Security Services company.
Commissioning of the system, whilst involving trans-Atlantic phone conversations, proved to be one of the smoothest, quickest and most efficient implementations.
Controlled linked the Lenel Access Control system to the intruder system.
Employee cards, of the correct category, are used to set and unset the Intruder Detection system. The alarm state is shown by the reader LED’s. Red for Armed and Green for unset. This removes the need to use either the keypad or a separate fob. It also helps the monitoring station in the USA.
